Victoria Ozdowski Obituary

Victoria "Vicki" Ozdowski passed peacefully on January 10th 2021 while battling Covid-19 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born to her parents Frank Casmir Ozdowski and Jennie B Ozdowski on June 12th 1945 in Detroit, Michigan.
Vicki was true to the character of a Polish Woman. She was educated and nurturing; she became a Registered Nurse. She did some of her studies at the State Hospital in Columbia. From there she work and help set up the Geriatric Unit at Mary Blacks Hospital and also worked at Spartanburg Regional. Before retiring she was the part-time head of the Department of Nursing at Charles Lea Center. She also taught training classes at Charles Lea Center. She was family-oriented; her greatest happiness were her daughter, son and being a Busia to her grandchildren. Elegance is something she did with such ease. Hospitable; she loved to have family and friends over make them a meal and make them feel so very welcome. Easy going is a trait that she did that made everyone around her feel comfortable. This is why she was so good doing teen counseling during her career.
Vicki will be truly missed but will always live on in our hearts.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Jennie Ozdowski. She was survived by her daughter Daniele Taylor, son Frank Reynolds and Jessie Cooksey. Her grandchildren Nathan Reynolds, Christopher Taylor Jr. and Shelby Taylor. Her adopted grandsons Chris, Johnny, Zach Cooksey and Daniel Wilson. She was also survived by her loving pets Carter, Smokey, Tinky and Sushi.
The family is planning a memorial for Vicki in 2 weeks and once finalized they will let everyone know.
