Tammy Lynn Mashburn

Tammy Lynn Mashburn, age 63 of Boiling Springs, SC passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was the daughter of Doris and Larry Spangler of Galax, VA.  Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of over 35 years, Cecil Mashburn, her son, Scott Sikes (Felicia), her daughter, Shanna Ingraham (Adam), her stepson, J Mashburn (Rasha), and her stepdaughter, Amanda Page (Sam).  She is also survived by her ten beloved grandchildren, Madeline Sikes, Maggie Ingraham, Caden Ingraham, Abby Ingraham, Isaak Ingraham, Avery Ingraham, Ellie Ingraham, Phillip Mashburn, Anna Mashburn, and Logan Page, as well as, her brother, Allan Funk, and her sister, Cheryl Funk, along with several nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind two furry babies, her dog, Lola, and her cat, Scout, as well as three very dear friends, Nancy Anderson, Wanda McCall, and Angie Smith.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Funk.

Through a difficult illness, Tammy was strong and courageous to the end.  She was led by a faith in God that never wavered and by the fierce love she held for her family and friends.  She and her family shared this difficult journey with the support of numerous friends and members of View Church.  Her family will be forever grateful for the prayers, food, and countless ways they were shown the love of Christ in the last year and a half.

A celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Tammy Mashburn will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at 2:00 p.m. at View Church, 5555 Parris Bridge Road, Boiling Springs, SC.
