On the evening of October 7, 2021, Jacqulyn Dunagin McAbee passed away after an extended illness. A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph K. and Mary H. Dunagin. Jacqulyn was educated in the Spartanburg County Schools and loved her family, beaches, and horses. She was a feisty go-getter who was not a afraid to fight for things she knew were right. Her survivors include her son, Chad (Heather) McAbee of Charleston; daughters, Tosha (Michael) Burriss of Spartanburg and Kathy (Chuck) Wilkie of Roebuck; brothers, Dennis E. Dunagin and James T. (Joe) Dunagin, both of Spartanburg; sister, Barbara D. Burrell of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Christopher (Whitney) McAbee of North Pole, AK, David McAbee of Charleston, Gavin McAbee of Charleston, Devin Kicklighter of Spartanburg, Keviin Kicklighter of Vincenzo, Italy, Morgan Burriss of Spartanburg, Jacob Burriss of Spartanburg, Barrett (Amber) Lee of Gaffney, Holly (Wayne) Rutland of Spartanburg, Madison Beaudrot of Charleston, and Justin Johnson of Charleston; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
