Obituary
Cody Morstein, age 55 of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 19, 2023 at his
new home in Spartanburg, SC. Cody is survived by his husband, Billy Morstein of 23 years, his sister-in-
law Laurie Morstein Rovin of Greenville, SC; Margery Morstein Spartanburg, SC; Wendy Morstein Tilley;
and brother-in-law Jeffrey and Kellie Morstein. He was loved by his nieces, Hannah Rovin Denham
(Brandon), Michelle and Samantha Morstein; and nephew, Daniel (Taylor) Rovin; and, his Uncle Sam and
Aunt Judy Peregoff of Naples, FL.
Cody struggled thru a long battle with cancer, yet, in the end, he wanted to be surrounded by family,
hence his move to South Carolina. Cody was passionate about advocating to discontinue

A celebration of his life will be held at the home of Laurie Rovin on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at noon.
