Armenthia Mae Johnson, a devoted woman of God, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born July 23, 1943 to the late Henry Cephus Williams and the late Irene Williams. She was the widow of John Albert Johnson. Mrs. Johnson transcended to her heavenly home on August 10, 2020.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: one son, Thomas Woods of Spartanburg; fours daughters, Stephanie Williams, Joyce Ann Woods,Lorraine Woods, and Evelyn Woods, all of Spartanburg; a brother, Cephus ( Mattie Pearl) Williams of Spartanburg; two sisters, Judy (Cesare) Hernandez of Spartanburg and Deborah Wilkins of Greenville; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Woods; one daughter, Gloria Woods; one grandson, Jamar Reeder; one great granddaughter, Jordyn Woods; two brothers, Willie Mack Williams and Gerald Williams; and two sisters, Catherine Talley and Gloria Thomas; a brother in law, Larry Wilkins.
