Timothy David Whitesides, 61, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his residence.

He was born September 3, 1962 in Lincoln County to the late Ralph Eugene Whitesides and Willie Kate Scronce Whitesides. Timothy was employed by Davis Services in Spartanburg, SC in commercial HVAC sales for over 20 years. Timothy was a member of the Piedmont Club and a cigar aficionado.

Those left to cherish his memory are; partner of 39 years: Arthur Jolly of the home; brother: Ralph "Gene" Whitesides and wife Diana of Lincolnton; niece: Mecca Simmons and husband Tim of Lincolnton; great nephews: Alexander and Avery Simmons; a host of friends and acquaintances.

A memorial service to celebrate Timothy's life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Lincolnton. Rev. Elizabeth Tester will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Church Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends following the service in the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Parish House.
