It is with sorrow to announce that Stephen James Wilson, 66, was found deceased from a heart attack in his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on May 3, 2024. Steve was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 13, 1957, to Mona (White) Wilson and James L. Wilson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and afterwards earned an Associates degree in Electronic Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Steve was a creative and hard-working man who enjoyed building and fixing things, playing guitar, and spending time with loved ones. He faithfully loved the Lord through his Catholic faith and his membership with the Knights of Columbus.

Steve is survived by his former spouse, LeAnn Wilson (North Dakota) and their three children: Daniel Wilson (Minnesota), Dana Wilson (Virginia) and David Wilson (South Carolina); and his four sisters: Karen Morales, Gloria Mayes, Cindy Marquis, and Lisa Dugan. He was a loving papa to his three grandchildren and will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Eric A. Morales.

Stephen Wilson will be laid to rest at MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Anderson, SC. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
