On Thursday, February 20th 2025, Stanley Lee Geter passed away at Spartanburg Regional Hospice, at the age of 68. Stanley was born on June 18, 1956 and was a proud US Marine veteran. He was the son of the late Willie R. Geter and Mary E. Greer Geter. He is survived by two sons Willie (Reco) Geter of Hickory, NC and Sterling Gardner of Chesnee, SC and one daughter Tamara Geter London of Lexington, NC. He has two surviving sisters of Spartanburg, SC, Brenda Geter Norman (the late William S Norman Sr) and Elaine Geter Thompson (Elbert (June) Thompson). He will reunite with his two brothers, William H. Geter and James A. Geter and one sister Maxine Geter McDowell. He has four surviving grandchildren, Daquayshia Geter, Diontay Geter, Malayshia Linebarger and Nevaeh Arrowood, and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
