Obituary
On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Ms. Sherlyn "Shell" Laverne Boyd entered eternal rest after an extended illness. A naitve of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Woodruff Boyd and the late Willie E. Boyd.
Her survivors include: sons, Martora Boyd and Damion Fowler, both of Spartanburg; daughter, Mariah Boyd of Spartanburg; brothers, Steven Boyd, Gary Boyd, Jermaine Boyd, James Boyd, Michael Boyd, and Travis Boyd, all of Spartanburg; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
