On  Saturday, October 7, 2023, passed away peacefully at his home.  A native of Mexico, Mr. Resendez settled in Spartanburg with his wife of 52 years, Guillermina.  he was a devout and devoted Jehovah Witness and lived his life in accordance with his beliefs.   He lived a simple yet full life surrounded by his very united family.  Mr. Resendez loved people and that love was returned to him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Cecilia Resendez of California, Veronica Resendez McCall (James) of Spartanburg, SC, Grissel Resendez of Spartanburg, SC, Salvador Resendez, Jr. (Aurora) of Spartanburg, SC, Eunice Resendez Maxey (Peter) of Taylors, SC, and Andres Resendez of El Paso, TX; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
