Mr. Russell Lee Brown of 640 Slippery Moss Drive, Spartanburg, SC passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Mr. Brown was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Earl and Elizabeth Brown. He worked for many years as a Engineer and served his country as a member of the United States Army achieving the rank of E-4. While in Army, Mr. Brown trained and became an expert marksman, after he was honorably discharged. He held Michigan State records for long distance target shooting. He practiced long range target shooting and attended contests with many wins - even recently. He is survived by three daughters, Andrea (Jerome) Powers of Evanston, IL , Skipper Denton of Tampa Bay FL, Tamara (Gary) St Charles IL, son, Peter (Teresa) Brown of North Aurora, IL; a brother, Art (Caroline) Brown of Tryon, NC; and his significant other, Susan Taylor. His grandchildren, Amanda, Tim, Nick, Samantha and Chloe and great grand children Lily and Beau.
