Ronald (Ron) Bruce Owens Jr. On November 2, 2024, at 7:15 a.m., Ron was called home to be with his eternal heavenly Father. Ron was 53 years old. He attended Boiling Springs High School and was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg. Before becoming disabled, he worked for Waldrop Heating & Air. He is survived by his parents, Ronald Bruce (Bruce) Owens Sr., and Brenda Cannon Owens. Also surviving is his wife, Jan Burrell Owens of Landrum, a son, Tyler Scott Owens of Rock Hill SC, and a stepchild, Raleigh Kimbrell. In addition, Ron is survived by a sister, Cheryl Owens Verdell (Dave) of Boiling Springs SC, and a brother, Todd Owens (Valerie) of Taylors The family would like to give special thanks to Traditions Health Hospice and especially to his nurses Ashley Coggins, Veronica Jones, and Shelia Miles, as well as Chaplain David. Dialysis Clinic Inc of Dillion Drive Spartanburg, and Landrum, Dr Saiward Glenn, and Dr Muhammed Ebrahim, as well as all his staff. Also, Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, special mention to nurse Tammy Poteat of the IV team. The family is at the home at 700 S Randolph Avenue, A5, Landrum. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, November 8th, at 6:00pm at the Landrum Depot, N Trade Street in Landrum.
