Mr. Raymond Green entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 26, 2021.  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Joe Green and the late Louis Miller..  Educated in the Spartanburg Public Schools, Mr. Green worked for years as a landscaper.  He loved to fish, work in the garden, and cook.  He befriended everyone he met.

His survivors include: three daughters,  Betty Jean Collins (Nathaniel) Reid of Chesnee, Patricia Wallace ( Joshua Mullins) of Inman, and Shaina Wallace (Charles Oglesby) of Spartanburg;  two sons, Phillip Jerome Wallace and Alfred Wallace, both of Inman; a brother, Willie B. Smith of Spartanburg; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
