Mrs. Patsy Carol Gaston of Spartanburg entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Beauford and Agnes Owens.  Mrs. Gaston was married to Mr. David Gaston.  After receiving her education in the Spartanburg County Schools, she worked for many years as a Lab Tech in the textile industry.  She was a strong, independent-minded woman who loved movies, dining out and spending time with her family.  Late in life, Mrs. Gaston became a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:  a son, Jeff Collins of Spartanburg; a daughter, Barbara Floyd (Tony) of Spartanburg; a brother, James Stroud of Spartanburg; sisters, Rosemary Cody (Phil) of Duncan, Louise Owens of Spartanburg, Judy Hawk of Spartanburg, Bonnie Eversol of Forest City, NC, and Trudia Stroud of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Jordan Collins, Jasey Collins, Jaley Collins, Lee Steadman, and special granddaughter, April Steadman. five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
