Mrs. Mellissa A. Wilkins, born August 27, 1964, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Ludy & Shirley Mae Sims. On Sunday, May 22, 2022, Mellissa went to live in her heavenly home.

Mellissa, graduated from Woodruff High School in 1983 and went on to work as a cook. Mellissa loved family gatherings, cooking, shopping, playing games, and spending time with her grandchild.

Those left to cherish fond memories include: her loving husband, Kenneth Wilkins; daughter Kenya Wilkins, Granddaughter Amariya Jenkins, Brother, Rev. Larry Sims (Mary) of Spartanburg; sisters, Venise Sims of Spartanburg, Mamie Utsey (Andrew) of Spartanburg, and Angela Williams (Roger) of Fayetteville, NC; along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
