Larry D. Upton, closed his eyes on September 4,2024 never to open them again this side of heaven. He was born October 9, 1954, in Greer SC to lthe late Betty Ruth Burger Upton and the late Frankie L. Upton. Larry was a 1972 graduate of coCcord Sr. High School.

He leaves behind his brother, Frankie Jerry Upton (Lynn) of Wellford, SC; niece Julia Upton of Providence RI;  nephew,  James Upton of Wellford, SC; and a great niece and a great nephew.

Graveside Services will be Saturday September 14,2024 at 4pm officated Father Rob Brown, Rector of St. Matthews Episcopal Church  at Collins Cemetery.
