Obituary

Keisha Waynette Dawkins Hardy answered her Father's call on Friday, March 22, 2024 in Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born on October 5, 1969 in Spartanburg, SC to Lynn Lewis Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC and the late Harold Wayne Dawkins. She was married to Terry Hardy for twenty years. Keisha was a 1987 graduate of Spartanburg High School and received her associate degree from Spartanburg Methodist College and undergraduate degree from Converse College. She worked as a teacher assistant and substitute with Spartanburg School District Seven, after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Relentless Church of Greenville, SC. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, the late Richard and Lenora Lewis and the late Zelotes and Idella Dawkins. Keisha leaves precious and endearing memories to her devoted and loving husband, Terry Hardy; beloved and caring son, Ja'Korrian Jamal Dawkins (Misty) of Spartanburg, SC; her mother, Lynn Lewis Dawkins of Boiling Springs, SC; one brother, Jamel Dawkins of Cowpens, SC; nieces, Harlynn Dawkins, Mackenzie Hardy, Jermelia Hicks (Donald); nephews, Jayce Dawkins, Lee Smith (Arialle), Anthony "Trey" and Devin (Keishauna) Hardy, Jerome Oglesby, Jr., and Kendall Keels; uncles, Zelotes Dawkins Jr. and Richard Prent Lewis; special aunt, Kittie Tullis; Father In-law, Wallace Hardy Jr.; mother in-law, Naomi Hardy; sister in-law Mary (Willie) Keels; Brother in-law, Wallace Hardy III; Sister In-law, Christina Oglesby; God-Daughter, Tay Spencer; God-Father, Willie Jones and numerous beloved great nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. She was proceeded in death by special aunts and uncles; Susie Lee Dawkins, Lola Mae Sims, Dewitt Littlejohn, John Henry Littlejohn, Julius Littlejohn, and James Dawkins; and brother in-law, Jerome Oglesby
