Keelyn Jerome Ross passed away on August 28, 2025, in Spartanburg, SC. Born on March 8, 2007 in Marietta, GA., Keelyn was the son of Crystal Ross and Jerome Petty.  He was a 2025 graduate of Spartanburg High School, and additionally studied Welding at Daniel Morgan Technology Center recieving his OSHA 10 Certification.  Immediately after graduation he gained employment with Purem Eberspaecher North America Inc..  An accomplished musical artist who recorded under the name "kkkuddy", Keelyn was very creative and loved all styles of music.  He also loved playing basketball, feeding others, video games, and helping others.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish fond memories:  his siblings, Jermyria D. Morris, DeCarlos Watt, Ja'kaious Osbourne, Georgia Brown, and Nizari Ferguson, all of Spartanburg, SC; grandmothers, Faye Ferguson of Spartanburg, SC and Brenda Petty of Union, SC; grandfather, David Powell of Gramling, SC; great grandmother, Azzie Lee Ross of Spartanurg; aunts, Ranada (Jonathan) Arthur of Boiling Springs, SC, Dorthea Dawkins of Spartanburg, Shaneka Petty of Spartanburg, SC, Azzie Ross of Spartanburg, and Samantha Ross of Pensicola, FL; uncles, Marcus Green of Winder, GA, Michael Ross, Jr. of Wasilla, AK, and Job Ross of Pensicola, FL; bonus aunts, Joni Watson, Jamie Norris, and Jessica Norris, all of Spartanburg, SC; bonus uncle, Reggie (Janeen) Tucker of Spartanurg; and a slew of great aunts and great uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Keelyn was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Anthony Ross and his great grandfather, Roosevelt Ross.
