Joyce passed away unexpectedly and with a fight leaving behind her grit, tenacity and spitfire stories for us all to share. She leaves her granddaughter who thought the world of her,but more importantly, she leaves behind Spartanburg Polica Department. Joyce adopted the Spartanburg PD and loved them as her own children regardless of age! She was known to speak her mind, warned everyone of her way and her expectations for them.  You knew where you stood with her and what her opinions were.  She loved those that would love her back and devoted her time to helping folks out simply asking them to pay it forward. Her granddaughter, Crystal Labbe would like Spartanburg PD to know, she is forever indebted to the service, gratitude and heart they have given to her grandmother! Forever thankful!
