Mr. Joseph "Jojo" Rubin Stephens of 218 Herbert Street went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 7, 2021.  A native of Spartanburg, Jojo was the son of the late Richard Stephens and Frances Greene.  He was educated in the Spartanburg County schools and worked as a supervisor at Innovative Fibers.  Jojo loved his family and spent his leisure time hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish fond memories: his fiancee, Rosalyn Tate of the home; daughters, Tabatha Evans and Keziah Stephens, both of Spartanburg; sons, Joseph Anderson and Jeremiah Anderson, both of Charlotte, NC;  step-children, Ryshon Boyd and Paris Tate, both of Spartanburg; brothers, Richard (Annie) Stephens of Fleming Island, FL, Jerry (Tracy) Stephens of Spartanburg, Torrey (Yolanda) Stephens of Charlotte, NC, and Zach Stephens of Spartanburg; sisters, Vanessa Stephens of Spartanburg and Rolando (Ted) Smith of Duncan;  grandmother, Elizabeth Brockman of Spartanburg, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
