Mr. Jonathan Terrell Brown entered  into eternal rest on December 2, 2020 after an extended illness.   A native of Spartanburg he was born on October 18, 1988 to the Roosevelt Edwards, Jr. and the late Lisa L. Brown.   Jonathan was educated in the Spartanburg District Seven Schools and was a member of The Pentecostals of Spartanburg, having been baptized as a teenager.  He loved spending with his family and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.

He leaves to cherish fond memories:  his father, Roosevelt Edwards, Jr. of Spartanburg; brother; Tyrone Brown of Spartanburg; three sisters, Keeuntae Brown, Shaquita (Stanley) Smith, and Zoey O. Edwards, all of Spartanburg; aunts, Mrs. Janice (Johnny Lee) Pearson, Mrs. Sylvia Pitts, Ms. Wanda Brown, Angela Edwards, Monzella Edwards, Debra (Johnny) Johnson, and Tina Brown, all of Spartanburg; uncles, Mr. Ronald (Lorraine) Prater, Mr. Bennie (Brenda) Brown, Mr. Benjamin (Ponice) Brown, James Holbert; and  Donald Lee Edwards, all of Spartanburg; step-grandfather, Fred Henderson; favorite cousin, Jimmy Edwards of Spartanburg; and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other  family.

In addition to his mother, Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie Brown, Sr., Betty Brown, Roosevelt Edwards, Sr., and Ruby Lee Edwards; and his cousin, Roshawn Robinson.
