John Chaney Schoolcraft passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 56.

Born on January 12, 1970, and educated in the Spartanburg District 6 schools,  John will be remembered by those who knew him and by the family who shared his life. 

John is survived by his wife, Ann Schoolcraft, with whom he founded Infinity Paws Animal Rescue.  He loved his pets, muscle cars, Harleys, and his grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sons, John Aaron Schoolcraft, Jacob Schoolcraft, Jeremy Hirsch, and Matthew Grimm; his mother, Midge Schoolcraft; six grandchildren; brother, Daniel Schoolcraft of Ohio; and sisters, Tina Holley of Ohio; and Tammy Johnson of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Schoolcraft and brother, T. J. Schoolcraft.
