Mr. John Gilbert Lipscomb, Jr. of 103 Nevada Street in Spartanburg entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 28, 2021.  Mr. Lipscomb was the son of Mr. John Gilbert Lipscomb, Sr. and the late Estella Jackson Lipscomb.  He educated in the Spartanburg District 7 schools and worked as a cook.

In addition to his father, he leaves to cherish fond memories:  his sisters, Yoletta (Anthony) Salinas of Lansing< Michigan and Sheila E. Lipscomb of Spartanburg; a brother, Michael D. Lipscomb of Spartanburg; nieces April Lipscomb and Tawana Lipscomb, both of Spartanburg; and great nephews, Hakeem and Kareem Lipscomb, both of Spartanburg.
