Mr. James Means of 132 Connie Drive, Woodruff, SC passed away on November 19, 2018 after an extended illness.   The son of the the late Arthur Means, Sr. and Martha Alexander Means, he was a native of Spartanburg County.  He was a member of Moore's Chapel Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age.   James was a member of the Lincoln High at Fairforest Class of 1969 where he was named "Mr. Senior".  He had a long career as a textile worker and was a friend to many.

Mr. Means is survived by a son, Shamon A. Putnam of Fountain Inn; sister, Martha L. Alexander of Spartanburg; niece, Anna M. Jeter of Cross Anchor; nephew, Lee Jeter of Union; and a host of other relatives and friends.
