Mr. Jackie Burgin Penland entered eternal rest on Friday, May 6, 2022 after an extended illness.  A native of Asheville, NC, Mr. Penland was the son of the late James and Evelyn Penland.  He worked in the construction industry for many years.  His survivors include his daughter, Candy Penland of Spartanburg; sister Janice Warren of Clabash, NC, and four grandchildren.
