On Tuesday, March 13, 2018 the Angels of Mercy brought everlasting peace to Mrs. Genell Burgess Teamer.  A native of Spartanburg County, Mrs. Teamer was the daughter of the late Howard and Bertha Burgess.  She leaves to cherish fond memories five sons: James E. Lyles, Cleveland, OH, Nathaniel Teamer, Spartanburg, SC, Michael D. (Sandra) Lyles, Spartanburg, SC, Roger A. (Jennifer) Lyles, Spartanburg, SC, Brian R. Teamer, Spartanburg, SC; Two grandsons reared in the home, Morrie S. Lyles, Raleigh-Durham, NC and Tyler C. Elmore, Boiling Springs, SC; five daughters: Charlie M. Boyd, Spartanburg, SC, Carolyn ( Ted) Calloway, Atlanta, GA, Mary E. Lyles-Younger, Spartanburg, SC, Marie A. Means, Spartanburg, SC, Sherrie S. Elmore, Boiling Springs, SC; Two sisters: Canaria Quander, Alexandria, VA and Annie R. Collington, Asheville, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husbands, Ernest B. Lyles and Charlie J. Teamer, and parents, Howard and Bertha Burgess.  She was proceeded in death by two sons Earnest L. Lyles and Calvin Lyles.
