Mr. Dennis Paul Wheatley, Jr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024 after an extended illness.  The son of the late Dennis Sr. and Minnie Whaetley he was born while his father was serving his country in Germany.  After completing his education, Dennis followed in his father's footsteps by serving in the SC National Guard.  He did warehouse work until his failing health precluded him from continuing.  Dennis loved watching sports, especially, NASCAR, football, baseball, and the Syracuse University basketball team.  He dolted on his niece and nephew and would do anything for them.

Dennis leaves to cherish fond memories: his sisters, Tammy (Martin) Hirsch of Spartanburg, SC  and Kelli Batchelder of New York; niece, Jordyn Hirsch of Spartanbrg, SC; and nephew, Christopher Hirsch of Spartanburg.
