Deborah Gail Burgess Batchelor, 69, of Blacksburg, SC passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Holyoke, MA on March 19, 1956 to the late Henriette Pomerleau and the late Richard Burgess.

Deborah leaves behind her three sons, Dennis (Michelle) Batchelor Jr. of SC, Lucas Batchelor of SC, and Joshua Batchelor of NC; daughter, Bonnie King of Westfield, MA; eight grandchildren, twenty-one grandchildren; four sisters, Patricia (Keith) Derosrer of NC, Pamela Knapp of OK, Cynthia (Danny) White of NC, and step-sister, Pamela Vaillancourt Murphy of NC; and several nices and nephews whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all four of her brothers, Russell, Donald, Edward, and James, as well as, her step-father, Richard Vaillancourt.

Collins Funeral Home of SC will be caring for Deborah's final wishes.

As requeted by Deborah, there will not be a service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
