David Edwin Hays, 57, went to be with the Lord on Nov 4, 2025. He was born inWestern North Carolina. His parents are George and Fran Hays. David served his country honorably as part of the US Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was in Operation Just Cause in Panama and later Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. David received several badges and metals for his service.

After he was honorably discharged from the Army, David became an unlimited licensed electrician and a licensed general contractor. His career allowed him to travel and work on various projects throughout the Eastern United States.. David was a very likeable person and could make friends where ever he traveled.

He enjoyed socializing, entertaining and being part of the crowd. He will truly be missed by family and friends.

At David's request and that of the family no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your church or charitable organization of your choice.
