Ms. Carolyn Ann Mitchell, of 147 Leland Drive, Apt. 43 entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 5, 2017.  A native of Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Dorothy E. Mitchell.  Ms. Mitchell worked as a bus driver for the public schools.  She loved her family, dancing, her late dog, Prince, and the New England Patriots.  A stylish woman, Carolyn was dependable and helped everyone who came her way.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Donnie Mitchell of Spartanburg, Derrick Mitchell of Spartanburg, Antonio Mitchell of Bishopville, and Jasmine Beatty of Inman; sisters, Christina Mitchell of Boiling Springs, Bobbie Jo Mitchell of Spartanburg, and Betty Jo (Demond) McCray of Greenville; brother, Phillip Mitchell of Spartanburg; twelve grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Sunday, October 15, 2017 at E. L. Collins Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 6 -7 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
