On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Mr. Benjamin Thomas of Jonesville, SC entered eternal rest.  He was the son of the late Benjamin Thomas and Iris Smith.  After completing his eduaction in the Union County Schools, Benjamin worked in the pulpwood business.  He was kind, quiet man who enjoyed helping his family and others, and could fix or build most anything.

Mr. Thomas leaves to cherish fond memories:  his mother, Iris Smith of Union, SC; two sisters, Tamika M. Smith and Markeshia Smith, both of Union, SC ; nieces, LaDestiny Salters and Divionne McCluney, both of Union, SC; nephews, Zavion Smith of Union, SC and Marcus (Haley) McCluney of New York, NY; girlfriend, Shatonya Pride of Jonesville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
