Amaryliss (Amy) Ann Stewart Thomas of Spartanburg, SC passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 at the age of 74. She was born on May 9, 1952 to James (Jimmy) Lispenard Stewart and Jeanette Brown Stewart in Charlotte, NC. She married her husband Christopher Carlisle Thomas in 1988 and together they shared many wonderful years.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Chris, in 2023, to whom she was a faithful and devoted wife.

Amy is survived by her loving daughter Sanna Esposito and husband Bryan; daughter Samantha Emanuele; daughter Shay Pye and husband Jacob; son Anthony Thomas; three sisters Kim Gore, Susan Moore, and Wendy Squires; four grandchildren Nevaeh, Adam (AJ), Carter, and Delilah; and by numerous niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

In honoring her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The family will celebrate her life privately
