On the morning of August 21, 2025, Mr. Albert Ralston Bruder, Jr. passed away peacefully.  He was a native of Charleston, SC  where he contiued to live until illness necessitated a move to his son, Albert III's, home in Greer, SC.  Mr. Bruder had a long career in government, both in the military and as a Civil Servant.  He loved his family, work, Natural Light, and vacuum cleaners.

He is survived by his children,  Albert R. Bruder III of Greer, SC, John A. Bruder of James Island, SC, and Tyler Bruder of nearby Duncan, SC; step-children, Ben Turner of Atlanta, GA, Eleanor (Dwight) Kisner of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren, including, Albert "Alston" Bruder IV of the home; sister, Alyce  Mathewes of Anderson, SC; niece, Alyce Burns of Anderson, SC and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Bruder was preceded in death by his wife Clayton " Billy" Bruder and stepson, James E. "Jamie" Turner.
