Mr. Albert Dewight Henson, Jr. , 52, went home to be with Lord on Friday, January 1, 2021.  "Butch" lost his battle with diabetes at the Spartanburg Medical Hospital in SC.

Butch was born on December 31, 1968 to Albert D. Henson  and Elizabeth JoAnne Haney in Haywood County.  He was preceded in death by his sister Tracy,  and mother  JoAnne.

Butch never met a stranger.  He loved people,  and he loved to eat.  No matter what he faced in life, he always remained very positive.   He was loved by so many.  His favorite thing to do was to go to church.   Butch leaves his father, Albert Henson,  sister Cynthia (Randy) Goodson sister Annette Hannah, and nephew Blake, all of Waynesville; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins,  friends, and his beloved dog, Jack.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beth Eden Baptist Church.
