On the evening of July 6, 2023, the Angels of Mercy brought everlasting peace to Mr. Albet N. Geter, Sr.  A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Emma Kerns Geter and the Clarence Geter.  After receiving  his education in the Spartanburg County Schools, Mr. worked for many years in manufacturing before beginning a long career in landscaping.

He leaves to cherish fond memories:  three sons, Eric Geter, Steve Geter, and Albert Geter, Jr.; nine grandchildren, Akili, Akilah, Terill, Sherill, DJ, Jaymin, Jayquan, Saral, and Brenda; six great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Geter and Helen George; brothers, Ckarence Geter, Jr., Christopher Geter, and Bobby Geter; nieces; nephews; and other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Geter and Carolyn Boozer.
