Sunrise. . .

Mr. Albert Nelson Geter, Jr. affectionately known as "Man" was born April 20,1977. A native of Spartanburg, SC., He was the son of the late Mr. Albert Nelson Geter, Sr. and Mrs. Patricia Lyles Geter.

A Life Well Spent. . .

Albert attended school in Spartanburg County. Upon graduation, He was accepted at Spartanburg Methodist College and was invited to play basketball. Mr. Geter loved sports, and you would often find him playing basketball with friends at one of the Spartanburg neighborhood centers.

Mr. Geter accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC. He was intelligent, and a hard worker who served as a handy man to many, especially the elderly.

Sunset . . .

On Sunday, November 23, 2025, Albert departed this life in Greenville County after a brief illness at the age of 48.

Those Who Remain . . .

He leaves to cherish fond memories: A daughter; Brenda Angeleea Geter of the home; three sons; Jayquan Petty of Inman, SC, Jaymin Petty of Beaufort SC, and Saral Kwame Geter of the home; his mother; Patricia Lyles Geter of the home; brothers; Steven Geter, Sr. and Eric Geter, both of Spartanburg; and his guardian father; Delbert Means of Spartanburg. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
